A quick overnight trip to Richmond in Melbourne became the perfect excuse to try out a new breakfast spot. With limited time to get to the airport for our flight back to Sydney, we decided to try out anywhere that served coffee and was open at 8am. Cue quick walk from our accommodation into Long Street Coffee. Best. Decision. Ever.
Slight hangover and cold morning meant poached eggs and bacon were always going to be on the cards but the unexpected and delicious dish on the menu that truly complimented our breakfast was the Polenta and Vanilla Porridge. The combination of both dishes plus the tea and coffee on the side made it the perfect place to finish our trip to Melbourne.
